You ever sit through a strategy presentation that’s 80 slides long and still walk out asking…
“Wait, what are we actually doing?”
Same.
We throw around the word strategy like it’s sacred.
Like it lives in a Notion doc or a quarterly board update.
But strategy isn’t what you present.
It’s what you prioritize.
The best product or delivery strategies I’ve ever seen?
They weren’t polished.
They weren’t color-coded.
They were clear.
- They answered three questions:
- What problem are we solving?
- Who are we solving it for?
- What are we saying no to—right now?
Because clarity is the real unlock.
You can build dashboards, optimize processes, run L10s until your EOS is showing—but if your team doesn’t know what not to do? You don’t have a strategy. You have a wish list.
In SaaS, confusion kills momentum faster than bugs.
So yes, share your deck. But make sure your team walks out knowing exactly how to move.
